Matthew Morgan on AI: what the channel covers and what I teach

If you searched my name with the word AI attached, this is the page that is actually about me, written by me. The short version: I am a YouTube creator and entrepreneur, known online as Matthew Online, and the channel is about one idea. A single person with no engineering background can now build and sell real things with AI. Every video is some version of showing how.

What the channel covers

The easiest way to explain what I do is to point at the videos, because each one is a worked example rather than a theory.

• Getting started with Claude. The Ultimate Beginner’s Guide To Claude is a long, start to finish walkthrough for people who have never used an AI tool to make money. It covers the setup, the way of thinking that gets good results, and the first small projects worth attempting.
• Building and selling a service. In Watch me start and sell an AI Service in 2 hours the whole process happens on camera: picking a service a business will pay for, building the delivery with Claude, and going out to find the first customer. It is the video I point people to when they ask what an AI service business actually looks like.
• A first result in a fixed window. How To Make Your First $1,000 Online In 14 Days With Claude lays out a two week plan with a clear order of operations, so there is never a day where you wonder what to do next.
• Systems that compound. Claude + Obsidian is a cheat code for making money is about pairing an AI assistant with a simple notes system, so that everything you learn about your customers and your offers keeps working for you.
• New releases, explained for normal people. When a new model lands, I make a practical video on what it changes and how to use it the same day, such as Claude Fable 5 Just Dropped. Here’s How To Actually Use It and I Asked Claude Opus 4.8 To Make Me $1,000. The focus is always on what you can do with it, not the spec sheet.
• The big picture. How I’d Make Money with Claude if my life depended on it is the plan I would follow from zero today, and What I’d Do Instead of Copywriting in 2026 explains why I moved the channel from copywriting to AI.

How I got here

I started working online in 2020, in my first year of university, as a freelance copywriter. I could not code and had no interest in learning. What I could do was write, so I sold email copy to businesses, found clients through cold outreach, and later taught that process to thousands of people through the channel and my programmes. A site called We Are Irish wrote a profile about that early business in 2021. The full story is on the copywriting page.

In 2024 the tools changed. AI coding tools reached the point where someone who could describe a piece of software clearly could get a working version without writing the code by hand. I built something I had wanted for years in a single evening, and that evening is the reason the channel is now about AI.

The thesis

AI did not change what a business is. It changed the production step and left the judgement step where it was. In copywriting the job was always to understand what somebody needs and then produce the thing that delivers it. The producing half is now fast and cheap. The understanding half is as valuable as ever. Software is the same. The tools will write the code. You still decide what is worth building and who it is for. That is why people who can write, sell and think clearly are the ones best placed to use these tools, and it is who the channel is for.

What I teach

Alongside the free videos I run one programme, AI Partners, a ninety day route to a first paying client using AI to build and deliver a service. It is a room of people doing the same thing, with help the same day when you are stuck, and a step by step plan so you always know what this week is for.
